My name is Lily and I am a fully qualified native French and Spanish teacher. I have many years experience of teaching French and Spanish in London. I teach structured, enjoyable and fun lessons in groups or one-to-one from beginners to advanced level. We offer 20% off for siblings. Contact us via muswellhill@lingotot.com!
I also provide tuition and revision for GCSE and AS/A2 level curriculum. Including Speaking, Writing and Listening Tests. I have full Qualified teacher status (QTS).
Multilingual education has become a way of life for me. I grew up in a bilingual French/Spanish household, and my partner is British – our son is himself being raised to be trilingual. I have completed my BA in International Relations at the University of Warwick in the UK, my Masters and PGCE in French in 2005, followed by a Spanish Teaching Qualification at Universidad Intenacional Menéndez Pelayo in Spain in 2010. I have also completed the International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma at UWC (United World Colleges) in 1998-2000, a global education movement which has 18 schools and colleges worldwide that deliver a challenging educational experience and whose mission is to “make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future”.
After the birth of our son, I have become more and more interested in multilingual education for little ones, and convinced of its efficiency. I then decided to join LINGOTOT to share this exciting journey with more families and children!
I love teaching children and watching them process new words. It is so rewarding to help them experience a new language and I have been known to well up when a child suddenly clicks and starts singing a song entirely in French or Spanish much to their mum's astonishment. Learning a language at a young age is so valuable as children truly are like sponges! The younger they learn a second or third language, the more likely it is to become second nature to them, and a skill they can maintain forever.
Lingotot classes are packed full of interactive songs, games, stories, a craft and most importantly, they are fun! All of the sessions are conducted almost entirely in the target language and in our community classes, you learn alongside your children. Classes are suitable for babies, toddlers, young children and their parents/carers so that the whole family can enjoy learning a new language together.
Lingotot tutors teach in community classes, day nurseries, KS1 and KS2 at Primary Schools (PPA), Lunch and Afterschool clubs.

We strongly recommend you to book in advance for the term, in order to benefit from our tested methodology and observe the progression of your child's improvements in communication and language.
A colourful support booklet with language-based ideas for activities and vocabulary to do at home is included with your registration.
One-to-one or small group classes with parents are also available.
