Yoga classes for your baby.
These 60 minute classes are a lovely way to unwind and connect with your baby. During class you will be shown how to move your baby's body in ways that are not only beneficial for their health and development, they are fun and can help build your trust in each other.
The class is packed full of songs. The main emphasis is touch and proprioception (knowing where your body is in relation to itself). You will be shown how to put your baby into safe yoga poses and holds. There is some baby massage, sensory play and relaxation techniques for parents. You will both leave feeling more positive and relaxed,.
Great for bonding, building trust, setting up an interest in exercise from an early age, improving sleep in baby, relaxing for adults, good for babies with tummy troubles and a great socialising activity.
PLEASE NOTE this is not a mum and baby yoga class. It a a yoga class for babies and parents do light stretches to help them with the lifts and carrying we will be doing during class.
