Buggyfit is the best way to get back in shape after your new arrival.
Buggyfit classes are an hour long, and usually involve a 3 – 5 mile route in total. Classes start with a moderate warm-up walk, moving into a power walk or run to raise our heart rates. This is when we start to burn fat! Each class includes group exercises specifically selected to strengthen and tone particular muscle groups, and enable us to cope with the demands of motherhood. We finish off with a cooldown and stretch.
We meet at the San Remo Tooting Bec Common cafe along A214 Tooting Bec Road, by the large children's playground near the pond. The Café is located north of the car park, past the lake, near Bedford Hill (B242). Parking is free by the lido and the carpark off Dr Johnson Avenue (which is closer). The car park entrance is on the right about 100yd/75m into Doctor Johnson Avenue, which is on the left when approaching from the west or on the right approaching from the east along Tooting Bec Road.
Eliza trained at a professional ballet school from the age of 10. Continuing from theatre school she went onto the West End and toured around the world singing and dancing in musicals, pop videos and cabarets and even Bollywood. Her last performance was at The Royal Opera House, Covert Garden in The Magic Flute. After becoming a clown doctor for Great Ormond Street Hospital, she set up her own children’s entertaining company, Potters Party, performing for children as a Harry Potter witch, as well numerous other characters. While “resting”, she qualified as a personal and fitness trainer, for the rich and famous. Loving exercise and children, Eliza started up Buggyfit 6 years ago in the Wandsworth borough specialising in post-natal fitness for mums.
