Focusing on critical thinking and creativity, this course encourages creative problem solving, independent thinking, innovation and self belief in children aged 8-11. It is made up of 5 x 90 minute online sessions.
Each student will join the online session using ‘Zoom’ software (which can be downloaded) from their home.
Students from all countries are welcome. Course times are based on UK time and all students must be fluent in English.
The ability to think creatively and develop original ideas serves us greatly in life. Whether it’s at home, at school, or in our lives beyond, innovating and having confidence in our ideas is hugely important. Critical thinking is also essential to help us find solutions to problems, evaluate options and think strategically.
Each online Life Skills Course includes access to additional exciting activities for your child to do independently at any point during their day/week. Each of these is designed to be a fun distraction from what is going on around them. These activity sheets will be emailed to you along with a summary of the content shared during the online session each day.
Embrace new challenges
Our Creative Problem Solving course develops your child’s ability to think creatively to find different ways to approach a task. Learning how to think creatively can help them feel confident and increase their readiness to embrace new challenges. Developing critical thinking can also help them feel more independent, giving them the tools and strategies to approach life in a new way.
